Lincolnshire Open Research and Innovation Centre

Lincolnshire Open Research and Innovation Centre (LORIC) is focused on developing the local economy for the benefit of all. We worked with them to identify key sectors that would enable them to achieve the greatest possible impact.

We used open Data, Trends and historic data to identify the most relevant sectors and ecosystems, finding shared and specific points of intervention to achieve the strategic objectives.

We then worked with cohorts from the identified sectors, combining data discovery and analysis with speculative design approaches and facilitated sessions to help them map out their collective ambitions to better understand what support might be needed .

The final layer of the project involved selecting the individual target beneficiaries (businesses, charities and agencies) that were eligible for support and working with them directly to help realise their individual plans. This generally involved supporting them with key innovation and data skills.
