This workshop can be tailored to a half or full day and is designed to help you explore the connected web of data that supports your organisation, community or project - looking at who contributes, who benefits, and how you can improve the quality of your information and the processes that make use of it.

A major part of good data work involves exploring and framing the “problem space”. In other words, making sure that you’re working on the right data challenge before you limit your possibilities and potential outcomes. We offer one-day and two-day versions of this data-meets-design-thinking intensive workshop; helping you focus on your own data challenges while providing tools and approaches you can apply elsewhere.

New technologies are developing and advancing ever faster; but are they right for your organisation, and are you ready to take advantage of them in your current workflow? We can help you explore what the technology actually does, what it means to be AI-ready, and what the unexpected impacts could be, all in human-friendly terminology. This will put you several steps ahead of the gen-AI using crowd, with a deeper understanding of what will be genuinely paradigm-busting and what is just doing the same useless stuff, but faster.
Data Futures
Sometimes, working out the data future means taking a step back from the data itself. Ignore the technology. What would you build, if money, time and space were limitless? What does your community or your organisation need to make a difference? What might happen in the world that you need to respond to? This workshop frees you to explore the possibilities without getting bogged down in the detail of what’s technically possible, and brings new ideas to life in a creative, free-flowing session for your team.
