Data Loop
Our first custom data workshop tool, the Data Loop provides an iterative way to explore data relationships and the touchpoints that enable them. Provided as a pdf with a canvas for printing and a set of instructions for use, this tool puts data in the context and also provides a way into our wider ecosystem of tools for exploring data collaboratively.

Data Ecosystem
The Data Discovery Tool is designed to help you explore complex ecosystems of data, people, interfaces and other components as part of a process that might lead to new products, services, policies or projects. Designed to complement the Data Loop and Data Blueprint tools it focuses on better understanding value exchanges within a network.

Data Blueprint
The Data Blueprint can be used as either a complete service design tool or as an addition to existing tools. It focuses on a set of “swimlanes” that help you to capture critical data flows and processes within a service so that you can model both the current situation as well as a desirable future state. More than this it offers a way of engaging with one or more data models or providing the basis to create your own.
The AI Data/Model Canvas
The Data/Model Canvas is designed to provide a space to explore how your organisation’s use of AI spans various configurations of data and AI models with their associated risks and benefits.
How to use this
Download the canvas as pdf and either print (we’ve created this A1 to provide proper space for capturing ideas) or add to a virtual whiteboard.
Use the separate facilitation pack (Google Doc) which contains descriptions and examples of the canvas elements, tips for usage and some critical questions to guide your workshop.
